AP Environmental Science students participated in their first 2 day BioBlitz to better understand the native flora and fauna within their school grounds. The grounds consist of connected gardens and a prairie. Students observed over 1200+ observations, identified approx over 200 species. Ayesha Qazi, AP Environmental Science teacher at Northside College Prep, created the event using iNaturalist. iNaturalist is a free program and app.
